What problem does Folio solve?
Student information is usually spread across Moodle, a student portal, Microsoft 365, messages and local folders. Folio puts it on one screen: what is due this week, when the exam is, where the file is.
Questions and answers

No. Folio Campus at foliocampus.com is a separate campus companion app for students. It is not the Canvas ePortfolio product and it is not the FOLIO library-services platform.
No. Folio connects information from systems you already use, including Moodle and Yedion, and sorts it by day. The campus systems stay the official source.
You can review courses, assignments, tests, grades and weekly schedules; organize course files; work with your course materials; and prepare selected material for tools such as Gemini or Gool.
Folio has desktop apps for macOS and Windows. Folio for iPad is available to the pilot group now; public release later.
Yes. After you connect Moodle and Yedion, Folio refreshes your courses, assignments, tests and grades. Without internet you cannot sign in or refresh, but what is already saved stays available.
Academic materials are kept on your device first. Folio keeps what sign-in and the service need: your Google account, your profile and app activation data, as the privacy policy sets out. When content is relayed between paired devices, it is encrypted end to end. The public website does not receive academic records.
The current pilot uses Google sign-in. Folio has no password of its own. Moodle and Yedion sign-in happens as usual, on the college's sign-in page.
The current public pilot is free for Azrieli students and does not require a credit card. If that changes, it will say so here first.
The pilot is open now to Azrieli (JCE) students. Students from another school can leave an email address during the download by choosing “My school isn't listed”. Staff from another institution can review the institutional overview or contact Folio to discuss technical fit. That conversation commits no one.
