What problem does Folio solve?
Student information is usually spread across Moodle, a student portal, Microsoft 365, messages and local folders. Folio brings the useful parts of that study day into one workspace so students spend less time searching and can see what needs attention next.
Is Folio Campus the same as Canvas Folio or the FOLIO library platform?
No. Folio Campus at foliocampus.com is a separate campus companion app for students. It is not the Canvas ePortfolio product and it is not the FOLIO library-services platform.
Does Folio replace Moodle or Yedion?
No. Folio connects information from systems students already use, including Moodle and Yedion, and organizes it into a calmer daily workspace. The original campus systems remain the authoritative source.
What can students do with Folio?
Students can review courses, assignments, tests, grades and weekly schedules; organize course files; work with curated study materials; and prepare selected material for tools such as Gemini or Gool. Available functions depend on the connected campus systems and the current Folio release.
Which devices support Folio?
Folio has desktop apps for macOS and Windows. A public iPad web app is available at app.foliocampus.com and can be added to the iPad Home Screen from Safari.
Does Folio sync automatically?
Yes. After a supported account is connected, Folio can refresh courses, assignments, tests, grades and other available campus information. A network connection is required for sign-in and fresh synchronization; material already stored locally remains available on the device.
How does Folio handle student data?
Academic materials are local first on the student’s device. Folio uses limited identity and operational service data for sign-in and delivery. When content is relayed between paired devices, it is encrypted end to end. The public website does not receive academic records.
How do students sign in?
Google sign-in is required for the current pilot and there is no separate Folio password. Connections to campus systems follow their own supported sign-in flows. Folio does not ask students to create another reusable password for the app.
Is Folio free?
The current public pilot is free for Azrieli students and does not require a credit card. Pilot terms may change in the future, so foliocampus.com is the official source for current availability.
Does Folio work at every university?
The public pilot currently supports Azrieli students. Students or staff from another institution can review the institutional overview or contact Folio to discuss technical fit. That conversation does not imply a launch date or commercial commitment.
